If you have a north facing light, you will find that the warmth of Alabaster can be a good balance to the cold light from the window. If you face west facing south or night light, the temperature of Alabaster will increase slightly.
Alabaster has an LRV of 82. This number puts Alabaster in the white zone, but it is certainly not one of the newer, brighter and beginning to shine in the non-white zone.

Sherwin Williams Extra White Paint
A lot of people go to Alabaster expecting a warmer white, but that’s not the case. Alabaster has a warmer sheen than its sibling, Benjamin Moore White Dove, which doesn’t have the yellow (or fresh/white) AS of Benjamin Moore Simply White.
If you have white accessories, Alabaster will look more cream-colored in comparison (which you do, but not so much). However, choose the right white subway tile, and Alabaster is the perfect soft partner, as shown in the next bathroom…
This heat can be a good choice if you have a north-facing room, but it seems warmer if you have a south or west night light. So, be aware of your space before you start painting the walls.

If I paint the trim and cabinets white and fall in Alabaster, I’ll just do it in white; used, different white Alabaster dishes look more yellow, in comparison. Depending on the white, Alabaster can be dull or cooler than you paid for!
