This paint color has a dark green-gray tone that seems to go with just about anything. It’s the perfect dark neutral color.

If you need a trim color to coordinate with Kendall Charcoal, consider colors like White Dove, Alabaster, and Simply White. They will work well together.

Revere Pewter is lighter than Kendall Charcoal, but still in the same color family, a neutral gray with green undertones. If you love Kendall Charcoal but can’t stomach a dark paint color, try Revere Pewter.
Chelsea Gray is another color in this family of warm neutral grays with green undertones. And it’s a bit lighter than the Kendall coal, making it more versatile.
If you like Kendall Charcoal but don’t like green, try Grizzle Grey. This is another brown color but with blue undertones.

The back kitchen island from Mia Mia Mine was painted Kendall Charcoal and then topped with a beautiful waterfall quartz countertop. The cabinets are painted in a crisp Sherwin Williams white, making the island extremely attractive.

The top wall of my dining room is painted my new favorite dark gray which contrasts well with the white bottom half.

BM Kendall Charcoal isn’t just for rocks. It can also make brick accents pop. In fact, I think the dark gray on the outside of the house, shown by Kelly Bernier Designs, makes the red pop.

Answer: The best thing about Benjamin Moore Kendall Charcoal is that it works in almost every room, indoors and out. It goes well with any accent color. If you want to try a darker shade, this is a safe shade to start with.
