We chose Behr Broadway for the blinds. It’s a step up from true black, so it’s a little softer than true black, but it basically looks black.
And for the door I chose Behr Lotus Leaf. In my opinion, this is a beautiful color between mint green and robin blue.
Every time I see my door I think of Bob Ross and his happy trees he paints.

While our shutters were drying, we cleaned off the FinishMax Extra and applied our beautiful blue-green color.
I took the door off the frame and replaced it with plastic to keep the bugs out of the house. Then we put the tape and tarp on the side and back of the door because we only want the front. We also removed all our hardware from the door so it wouldn’t accidentally get painted.
