So when James was designing prototypes for a furniture manufacturer and was frustrated with fabric waste, the question came to mind: Is there a way to recycle scraps and scraps of rolls into beautiful, quality fabrics? By testing the market and opening the ground for establishing partners in the supply chain, by building state-of-the-art factories, the response has been extremely positive.

We feel good about what we do every day. Our renovated 25,000-square-foot grocery warehouse and our 6,000-square-foot store in Charlotte, NC are filled with materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill, Eva says. Solving this problem has led to helping many different people solve their recovery and rehabilitation challenges.

They choose mid-century designs from manufacturers such as Knoll, Muharram and Kudrat, which are increasingly popular with mid-century modern enthusiasts. The large supply allows them to reduce their factories by 50 to 80 percent, making their formula successful.

Not everyone needs the specialized and expensive fabrics available from harsh climate manufacturers. Most modern fabric supplies are full of premium treasures and very durable.

For James, his interest in all things mid-century grew out of flying to exotic locations with his father, a Pan Am airline pilot. Eva has always been drawn to factory artisan qualities, and her passion for mid-century design has become a specialty. Owning their lavishly furnished mid-century home in rural North Carolina gave the two of them time to talk and travel.
