Superdeck exterior waterborne solid and semi-silk paint stains. Excellent protection against weathering, chipping or spillage as well as proven strength and high stain resistance, this product family allows natural wood styles to stand out. Both hard and semi-hard stains repel water on fresh or weathered wood and can be applied to wet or dry wood.

“Our sturdy SuperDeck tint base uses Sherwin-Williams VinylSafe® paint technology to guarantee our customers a broad color palette, long-lasting performance and a beautiful finish,” said Sinclair. Cool Feel® is compatible with this product. This new technology lowers surface temperatures and provides cooling support by up to 20 degrees F on those hot summer days with a unique cool feel palette.
“There is a strong stain and a nice textured finish that allows for natural fruit. Semi-hard defines a color that is stronger than semi-transparent and does not completely hide the fruit like a solid color.

Only two coats are required to achieve maximum performance, it provides easy application and cleans up water stains. Hello friend! Thank you for loving our fish show so much. The response has been overwhelming and we are enjoying our new space… plus we are ahead of the warmer weather and a heat wave is hitting our area with temperatures above 106 for a few weeks now. It will be unbearable there. Needless to say, I can’t wait for it to pass so we can spend more time outside. Since it’s been getting hot lately, we started feeling the heat even before we finished one of the biggest projects of the entire renovation: the decking. Luckily, I was able to do that before the real fireworks got here. Today, I am sharing the process of how I did the job.
One of my biggest goals for our outdoor space is to make it feel like our home gym. I wanted to blur the lines between indoors and outdoors and knew Spotlight would help achieve this. As beautiful as the natural red wood is, I don’t want it to look like or look like a standard wooden chair. I love the warmth of the color of our hardwood floors in our home and hope to replicate that on the outside.
Sherwin Williams Class Action Says Deck Stain Prone To Peeling
Since we are using red wood, we have to wait several months after it is finished before we can stain or cover it. This allows the wood and oil to dry properly so that it improves the stain and gives a great color. The house was finished in February and left to dry for 5 months before I got a place in July. If you’re working with a wood like pine or Douglas fir, you won’t have to wait long before staining. Once I came up with a game plan for how to do this project, I ordered corner molding from Sherwin-Williams for the stain and materials.
I used a brush, roller, metal tray, pump, and a series of Sherwin-Williams Superdeck cleaners and sweepers to get the job done.
As with any job, great results start with a clean and well-prepared surface. I start by removing everything from the seat. Next, I give the bottom a good scrub. To clean and disinfect the deck, I used SuperDeck Revive Deck and Siding Brightener. This method is best used on fresh or untreated cedar, redwood, or pressure-treated wood.
