So far I’ve painted the guest bedroom and bathroom with Sherwin Williams Sea Salt and I’m already thinking about painting a few other rooms as well. One thing to keep in mind is that sea salt changes slightly with lighting. Depending on the direction of the room, how much light enters the room, whether it is natural or artificial light. Many variations mean color variations.
Of course, I highly recommend getting a sample and trying it out in your area, but I’m pretty sure you’ll love it!

Sea salt looks like crystal clear water and is a colorful chameleon. The color varies from soft green to soft blue, depending on how the light hits it. Natural lighting affects appearance more, so a windowless bathroom may look different than a light-filled living room.
While green is a true sea salt shade, blue often shines. Interestingly, sea salt can appear gray when placed next to more concentrated greens and blues. Feel free to stick the color samples on other parts of the walls as well. It’s a great way to see how lighting affects actual color.
While we think Sea Salt looks great in almost any room, it does an exceptional job of opening up small spaces with vibrancy and neutrality. Sea Salt is the perfect soft blue/green that isn’t overpowering.
