Behr Paint Colors Sherwin Williams – I’m a big fan of the color gray. It’s a great neutral and gives a clean, modern feel to almost any space. However, I learned that not all things are created equal. We painted most of our house in Brooklyn a solid gray when we first moved in (Sherwin Williams Lattice specifically). Although it is beautiful in color, it is often too cold for my taste. This led me on a hunt for the perfect gray color that wasn’t too shabby but didn’t fall into the “builder beige” color category. This is my favorite so far. 🙂

These are the dark colors in this post, but I think it would be nice in a larger space to use a little darker color. This color scheme is popular on Pinterest and it’s easy to see why! I think this color looks great with the white trim and espresso tones. I will be careful not to lose the furniture when you use this color, otherwise the house can be heavy.

I think this is my favorite right now! It is light, which is good because we often use small rooms. It’s a really warm color, but I feel that different types of lighting during the day will be attractive to this color.

Behr Brooklyn: A Complete Color Review

Okay, maybe I lied. This might be my favorite. Plus, if Shea McGee says it’s his favorite gray, it must be a good one. 🙂 Small fridge, but looks great. I think this color will be very rich and can be more or less gray depending on what you mix it with.

It’s very close to the second one above, but to me it’s more beige mauve than grey. This will be perfect if you are looking for a beige shade that is light and airy. It is very beautiful in color and will look good in a traditional house or a new construction that already has a lot of beige.

I think the color of the paint lives up to its name – it’s great! It’s more gray than beige, which I like. It’s not too dark or too light and I think it’s good all around.

Historical Paint Colors Making A Comeback

This one, in my opinion, leans on the beige side and is almost like the lighter version of Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter, which is great if you love that color and want something a little lighter. but not as strong.

It always helps me to compare the colors when they are next to each other, so here is a small reference image. Two of my favorites are Behr Silver Drop and Benjamin Moore Balboa Mist. Did I miss another great Greg? I would love to know what colors you like!

. It may be a little difficult to find 100% pure gray color (some of them have hints of other shades that I will explain below), but it is close.

You may recognize this toilet! Actually, this is from our first house (Brooklyn house) before our residents moved out. I will say that of all the colors I will review in this post, SW Lattice is the cleanest gray I have found so far. In fact, after seeing this in our house, my brother used this color in his house. Brian’s boss asked us for gray color advice and chose Lattice (he liked it). I highly recommend this gray color for any space. It’s light enough to work well in a room with no light source (like a basement), but it’s also good with natural light (like our house). Lattice is a great neutral background and looks great with bright accents or more natural decor. It is flexible. You can’t go wrong with this color.

Best True White Paint Colors With No Undertones

Mindful Gray is another favorite of mine. It’s pretty dark compared to the other grays in the chart above, but I promise it’s not too heavy or dark. I’ve used it a few times: to turn the vanity in my parents’ powder room, and to the small coffee bar that now lives in our living room. I am planning to paint our brick and master bedroom soon! Mindful Gray first came into my life when I saw it used on a Fixer Upper episode. This is one of those colors where you have to do two things to figure out exactly what color it is. It can have this beautiful effect like a chameleon under different lights. It has a slight green tint to me. But I never look at it and think “green”. I would still classify it as gray. I think SW Mindful Gray is great in a room with a lot of decorations. Jamie of Mindfully Gray (I think her blog could be named after that color!) used it beautifully in her dining room, kitchen and living room. How beautiful it is in the shade of the trees!

Love the sound of Mindful Gray but looking for something simpler? So, my friend, be sure to check out SW Repose Grey. This is the next color in the color swatch line (similar tone, only lighter color). In this beautiful girl’s room, you can see that it is a neutral gray color that goes well with blues and pinks. I love helping friends, family and clients who have just moved into a new place and are painting their whole house but are not sure what to do with each room. That way, if they have a baby in the near future, they can quickly add color to decorate the baby’s room. We use this color in one of our rooms across the street (see pictures of it in the living room and dining room) and it looks dreamy on the dark wood.

I may not have chosen this color to include in this post, mainly because I like the name so much. Just kidding. who. SW Front Porch is Lattice’s lighter cousin (and Silverpointe’s darker cousin, which I’ll review below) and it’s a nice gray. There is a slight hint of blue/purple undertones, but I would 100% call this color a beautiful true gray. Also, porches go well with white trim. I can’t find many photos of houses with this color (maybe it’s new to the Sherwin Williams paint line?) and even though the photo above is a little dark, you can still see how beautiful the color is. and the dark background and tone. I haven’t tried it on any of my projects, but it’s definitely in the color library!

How To Create Your Home’s Perfect Color Palette

I came across this coloring page from an Instagram post from Newly Woodwards blog. He posted the photo above, and I immediately took a screenshot so I could describe the color. I find that the color gray is calming and soothing. I can imagine waking up to this color in the morning light. In the swatch it seems to be a little purple, but in the photo of the room you will not see anything – only clean, gray. I’m waiting for someone to request the gray color so I can get this. Maybe the name affects me (they are), but I think it will be good in the water house. It reminds me a little of the ocean and the gray, winter months.

This silver gray color is the Sherwin Williams Color of the Month for December 2016. As I said, this is a lighter version of the front grill and grill so you have similar colors in both colors. In all the pictures I’ve seen of this color, it looks like the wall color will look like whatever you mix it with.
