Benjamin Moore Ceiling Paint Ultra Flat – I recently had the opportunity to work with the new Benjamin Moore 508 ceiling paint. It is a very suitable ceiling paint that hides common ceiling imperfections, using the Gennex Watercolor System making it a VOC compliant product across the board. It has a longer opening time to increase efficiency, resulting in less draw and draw. The duration of treatment is 1 hour, the duration is 1-2 hours. I had a perfect ceiling to try this on in my bathroom, at my vacation home.
It’s been neglected for years, and has had a few leaks that cause the popcorn hull to collapse, and water spots. I removed the old popcorn molding, and patched the damaged areas after removing most of the wallpaper to attach the damaged plasterboard paper. After gentle lathering, there were still several imperfections that I could see. As you can imagine, the last thing a paint contractor wants to do on their vacation is work on their home, especially a vacation home.

So I needed a paint that would cover my imperfections as much as possible. I’ve found this paint to do a pretty good job in this regard, even with light coming in through a window.

It was easy to use, and was solid on dead flat film. I wore two layers with 1/2 coverage, and was very happy with the coverage. With a retail price of $37.99, this ceiling paint is high quality, and works like it does.
After I’ve used this paint on my home, I’ve applied it to several other paints and I have a new JHC build project on hand.
