I love neutral, earthy colors in red brick homes. Some of my favorites include gray, taupe, creamy white, greige, beige, blue, sage green, and black.
They can work, but too often they get hit with bricks. Another thing that can happen with these colors is that they blend into the bricks and provide no contrast or color variation, which is a no no!

I also recommend staying away from cool whites and off whites. The contrast between warm brick tones and cool white tones can be drastic. Instead, choose a warm, slightly creamy white.
Red Brick No firefighting vehicle is red, as the name might suggest. Instead, it’s a muted earth color, aptly called “brown” or “rust.” In addition, red brick usually contains a mixture of medium to dark brown colors, which also helps lighten the red color.

Tricorn Black (SW6258) is one of my favorite paint colors to complement red brick because it brings out the neutral grays and blacks instead of highlighting the red tones.
