Fortunately, after 10+ years of DIY here, Travis has come to believe in my design vision.

But sometimes, I want to scream come on!!! This is not good, so I have learned not to do it.
Trav in particular spent many hours researching the preparation and installation of these two amazing fences. I’m so glad they did because there are some things you never know and the project will never be successful without preparation and planning.
Depending on the size of the fence, you can buy it. For two 6ft tall by 8ft wide fences like ours, I used 22 boards, 11 per fence. Remember, the pine is 1×6 right after it is cut, but when it arrives at Home Depot it is about 5.5 inches.

So, are you inspired to create this fence? I’ll be honest, this was a big design risk for me. Not sure if adding a fence would be awesome or redundant since we already have stucco walls and greenery. Now I know! Adding an extra visual layer is better than sticking with flat hummer walls of no size.
