Most Popular Benjamin Moore Colors For Bedrooms – A few years ago, we shared Benjamin Moore’s most popular paint colors according to Benjamin Moore. It’s time to update our best-selling color list, and we’re so excited to update it today!

For the past year, Benjamin Moore has stopped updating the best-selling paint colors section of his website, which is really annoying. But just last week they finally updated it (maybe for the new year) and it’s always interesting to see what Benjamin Moore’s best sellers and hottest colors are.

I’m not one to pick a paint color just because it’s popular or trending, but I always update my best selling colors because one paint color should be beautiful and reliable. Colors by Benjamin Moore. It is also one of the tools I use when looking for new colors to incorporate into my vision for my clients and blog.

Benjamin Moore Paint Colors: Top 10 Designer Favorites

Benjamin Moore actually has some of the nicest shades of green out of all the paint companies. Smoke and Hell Navy are two all-star colors that have been on best-seller lists for years. Because these colors are amazing and always look good in different lighting conditions.

Benjamin Moore Smoke has a bright blue color that makes the space very airy. We used Smoke on a recent client project in our son’s room and it looks great.

Van Cortlandt Blue has been a popular blue for many years and I especially love using it for cabinets! In fact, Stephanie Gamble Interiors recently painted these laundry room cabinets Van Cortlandt Blue, which is an absolutely beautiful pop in this space.

I think the most popular blue is Benjamin Moore’s Hell Navy. Hell Navy is loved by designers, builders and homeowners because it is the perfect dark navy and always looks good! In my opinion, nothing compares to Hell Navy.

I’m not surprised that Gray is listed as Benjamin Moore Gray’s best seller. Because it is the best and very reliable shade of Benjamin Moore Gray. Collingwood is a new color unfamiliar to me, but I fell in love while touring this modern French home a few months ago during the Salt Lake City Parade of Homes.

Collingwood is slightly warmer than the traditional balanced warm gray. Not yellow, slightly warm. Personally I like it, but keep that in mind. This home is filled with lots of natural light!

Paint Color Trends Designers Can’t Stop Talking About

Staunton has been a bit popular over the years, but I think we’ve seen it on bestseller lists. Stoningtons have a deeper warm gray (more pigment) than gray owls. However, it has a glossy gray color and can be very noticeable in certain lighting conditions.

It’s no surprise to see a gray owl and an Edgecombe gray on this list. These are two all-star warm grays that have been consistently best sellers for years with their luxurious and reliable color sense.

Edgecombe Gray is a very light warm gray that I love and use a lot. In fact, we highlighted Edgecombe Gray in Color Spotlight last year and shared many spaces painted in this versatile color.

The gray owl is currently Benjamin Moore’s most popular warm gray. If it hadn’t been number 1, I’m sure it would have been number 2.

Benjamin Moore’s popular green is actually green/blue/grey, which is not surprising to me. Besides white and gray, this beautiful green/blue/grey hue is currently the biggest color trend. I think Woodlawn Blue (actually classified as green by Benjamin Moore) is Benjamin Moore’s most popular green. It’s one of my favorite colors!

Benjamin Moore Wyeth Blue is another green/blue/grey color that has been very popular since I started blogging! This is another great color.

Incidentally, I noticed from paint manufacturers’ paint color forecasts for 2018 that green is a big color trend expected in 2018. I think we’ll move more with color. The dark sage color is very muted but still has hints of blue/gray.

I was also shocked to learn that Benjamin Moore Wedgwood Gray was not on the list as it had been on the list for years. It is one of the most beautiful and popular greens!

Best Gray Paint Colors

There are a few surprises in this hottest white list, but we were shocked to find that Benjamin Moore decorator’s white isn’t on the list! This would have been a mistake, as white in decorators is probably one of the most popular colors on the planet. I’m assuming that’s a mistake, and if you don’t know about Decorator’s White, keep it out of sight!

Benjamin Moore Decorator’s White, next to Sherwin Williams Repose Grey, is on my “go to” color list and is the color I recommend most to my clients. It is a great cabinet, decor and interior door color. However, I recommend mostly decorative white for cabinets, trim, and interior doors in spaces that don’t get much natural light. This is because white instantly brightens the space and does not give off a warm color at night or in artificial light.

Benjamin Moore Simply White has become really popular over the years and has become one of the most popular whites. It does have some warmth, though, so we only recommend it for spaces with plenty of natural light.

If you’re looking for a soft neutral color that will work with any décor, you’ll want to add Edgecomb Gray to your list of possibilities. It is a subtle warm gray tone, and it looks warm when used in a room facing south or west, and looks cool when used in a room facing north or east.
