This is because Benjamin Moore distributes its paints through independent retailers such as Ace Hardware and JCLicht hardware stores. Contrast that with Sherwin-Williams, which owns and operates all of its retail stores.
Even if there is a Benjamin Moore paint store near you, I have found that different independent retailers carry different lines. For example, you won’t find some of the flat white ceiling paint lines that JCLicht Ace put on the app.
