Sherwin Williams Emerald Paint Colors – For the first time in years, Sherwin Williams is excited to release 200 gorgeous new designer-influenced paint colors today as part of a new exclusive one-coat/self-formulation paint collection called Emerald Designer Edition. Those colors and paints are now Sherwin Williams’ flagship interior paint line.
Before getting into the details, I want to let you know that this post is not a sponsored post. I am an artist excited to share with you what I discover for my client projects in this new thread.
Sherwin Williams Emerald Paint Colors
These 200 new colors are exclusive to Emerald Designer Edition paints and cannot be used with other Sherwin Williams paints. The reason for this is that the Emerald Designer paint line is formulated with a completely different “ultra white base”, so if you request these specific colors for other SW paints, the other white bases will not be the same. This is different.
The Best Dark Green Paint Colors
Sherwin Williams bright white; Sherwin Williams said in its press release that the new colors are based on requests from interior designers who want more sophisticated gray/beige and more muted colors. SW likes these colors better because of the bright white base.
When I first saw the fan deck I was heartbroken because Sherwin Williams nailed it and clearly knew what the designers were looking for to create this new collection. Each color block is a fine grid.
I have already customized several colors for my customers and wanted to share my favorite colors from the new collection to inspire you.
Paint Color Trends Designers Can’t Stop Talking About
At the top of my list is the forged steel SW9565-hands down. I can tell you now, it’s good, so we’ll be seeing a lot of this color. The funny thing is that I was trying to get a really nice charcoal color with a custom mix. It could not be fixed. Sherwin Williams was perfect for the dreamy mix of brown/grey/charcoal I wanted for a project.
However, the other colors I added to the collage above are fake steel paint strips. I love all these colors in one space and I often work from one space to make sure all the colors are in one space (trim, door color, cabinets, walls, etc.).
Wrought steel walls that do not disturb; Perfect for indoors and outdoors. In fact, I will be using this color throughout the house for all the interior doors of a client project I am working on. Isn’t it amazing?
Outdoor Sanctuary With Sherwin Williams Color Of The Year
Very close to my favorite forged steel is this gorgeous deep muddy green called Succulent. Oh my God!! Very beautiful! This color palette is amazing though!
Sherwin Williams used Succulent beautifully on the cabinets in a color from a new collection called SW White Sail (love this subtle white).
Another favorite I can’t wait to try is Gild Grey, the lightest color of wrought steel. I think this color would be the perfect color for an entire wall in certain lighting conditions.
How To Paint Your Cabinets Like The Pros With Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel
Guild Gray reminds me a bit cooler Repose Grey. I think Guild Gray would look great in a home that doesn’t get a lot of natural light. It will shine with hints of color on the wall.
I also enjoy using Serenly and all the other colors on the Serenly Painted color palette. It’s just a gorgeous muted blue that isn’t too pigmented.
I also love Whisper, which is the color of the wall below. Also notice the white brick color. It is called white sesame and is very warm gray in color.
Sherwin Williams Emerald Interior
As for the quality of the new Sherwin Williams Emerald Designer Edition paint, I have heard really good things about the product from several painting contractors who have tried it. It is more expensive than traditional emerald paint, but the good news is that it is a one-coat paint; So, it doesn’t take much to cover the room, which will save you money in the long run with this method. I love that this line comes with a scrubbing flat!! This is great news as I love using flats in my client projects as they make such a difference on a wall.

Paint Color Review: Sherwin Williams High Reflective White 7757
It’s not often that a drug brand comes along with a new color line. So, needless to say, Sherwin Williams has introduced a brand new line for the collection called ‘Emerald Designer Edition’ and I am very excited.
Huh color choices I ran out of options – never told anyone. Yes, I live and breathe this because you’re probably already swimming in the deep end of the painting pool, no one but me. So consider me your flotation device to help you cut through the riff-raff and point you to today’s best paint colors.
This medicine is of high quality and reasonable price. But if the rumors are to be believed, this is a great product, and the new colors are hard to beat.
