Sherwin Williams Gray Green Exterior Paint – Choosing a paint color can be difficult. There are literally billions of options for each shade, and depending on the lighting, it can look different in your space. With that being said, we did some research and were really happy with our choice…which is why I’m here to share it today.

We painted our doors “Iron Ore” by Sherwin Williams. Completely black with a touch of charcoal. I like that the matte black handles are a little darker.

The exterior gray is “Cityscape” by Sherwin Williams and as I said before, the gray feels “real”. Neither blue nor purple; Brown or not not green…sooooooooo! Look here in the sun…

Now that’s a fun chameleon color… depending on the light, this gray can look green or blue. Maybe it’s green or blue, we really love. I used matte paint, which is a bit risky for the kitchen, but I love how it absorbs the light.

We come to these three options. Our best friend went right out with “Rare Grey,” so we know we love that color. “Backward” is very pretty, but a bit too dark/bold. So “evergreen fog” seems like the perfect medium, and yet a little dangerous to us. We are very happy to do that. We love it.

Everything in the rest of our house, including the walls, trim and ceiling … is painted “Chantilly Lace” by Benjamin Moore. I studied this color a lot…like I said, there are a billion white options! But I like how it turned out. While I worry how things will go with the upper cabinet, they compliment each other very well.

Finally, I chose the wall color for the boy’s room. Wyatt’s room is Benjamin Moore’s “Greyhound.” The lighting isn’t great for these photos, but in real life this gray is still a very pretty but masculine blue. I went with “Light French Grey” by Sherwin Williams in Watt’s Nursery; So I like things a little different in this house.

Sorry for the bad lighting again, but this is a really fun color for Ethan’s room. Called “Narragansett Green” by Benjamin Moore, it is incredibly rich and wonderful in person. I went with dark gray in Ethan’s room at our last house and it’s nice to have a darker shade there. Since this room is large, we know it can handle bright colors.
