With an LRV of 26, the Swallowtail is not one of the DARKEST gray, but still has a lot of meat on the bones (although the tail feathers can be important).

Dovetail has a warm undertone and you’d be hard pressed to see it as bright as a cool gray paint color. It also has very bright shades which you can read in its full color review.
If you ask me, a color called “Classic French Grey” should have a purple undertone, don’t you think? Or is it just me making a strange emotional connection to something from my childhood? Anyway. Sherwin Williams Classic French Gray has a subtle green undertone (it’s a little blue in some lights). However, I just happened to see it as one of the NEUTRAL dark gray paint colors, knowing that all grays have undertones.

Roycroft Pewter is MUCH more undertone than the usual dark gray, but it’s not TOO bad on the color end of things. When he looks at the blue, he dips his toes into the green. With an LRV of 13, Roycroft Pewter is on the edge of the CONSIDERABLE dark side.

Give me a Grizzle of shizzle! Sorry, channeling my inner gangster. Grizzle Gray has an LRV of 13, which means it has good meat on the bone, but will never look dark. And if you ask me, while Benjamin Moore Amherst Gray is known for its green undertones, Grizzle Gray puts RUSH to shame with its green and slightly cooler look.
I’m throwing down the gauntlet WITH THIS gray one. However, despite having an LRV of 17, Gauntlet Gray is not a dark coal gray, but has a strong depth.

When it comes to undertones, it’s hard to beat the subtle style of Westchester Gray. This doesn’t mean it’s neutral, but it’s not as vivid as some of the dark paint colors on this page.

Although Westchester Gray can look a little blue to the eyes, a touch of green, subtle and beautiful, and given the right exposure, indoor light, nature, can give a slight bias to the cooler shades.
If you choose Peppercorn, you will go on a WILD undertone ride. It’s not that it’s too much, it’s that it’s NOT SURE. Like the color above it in the slot, Grizzle Grey, Peppercorn has a green tint. However, in good conditions, don’t be surprised to see that the green drop is replaced by a touch of blue-purple color!

Peppercorn has an LRV of 10, so it has depth, much more color on this page. However, it is not dark enough to blink at the end of things. After I get more photos from my E-Design customers showing this color, I will add it. Until then…
I love Web Grey. LRV 13 is a great way to make changes to the kitchen island, doors or wall panels, but it’s not so dark that it overwhelms the space. But when it comes to undertones, it’s good to cheat!
Web Gray prefers blue down, no doubt. However, depending on the situation, it can depend on whether it is blue-purple or blue-green. For example, put it in a strong shade of purple, like Sherwin Williams Wall Street, and you’ll really see a pop of green there. However, put it next to Grizzle Gray and it looks blue-purple again. SIMILARITY PERSONAL.
