Revere Pewter Benjamin Moore
After owning 3 houses and painting almost every room. I tried out a color sample or two. Although I have listed paint colors in our current home room by room. But I never mentioned these colors. So I’m going to try and do that here. I thought I’d start with one of the most populated areas of our house. That is a great room!
Actually, this color doesn’t just belong in our living room. Instead, we chose it as the base color for the tone of the entire house. And I don’t regret it for a second!
Benjamin Moore’s popular Revere Pewter Gray Interiors offers a unique look in any room. It depends on the furniture and decorative accents. It’s crazy! But maybe that’s why it’s so popular. Oh, I guess before I left. Let me address the elephant in the room first:
Is Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter The Best Warm Gray Cabinet Color?
Greige is exactly as expected – a gray with beige undertones. It’s one of gray. Depends on brightness (Natural or synthetic) It can be more gray or more beige. The warm undertone in our house, Revere Pewter, looks more beige. But we can see some of the gray that makes our gray sofa stand out and the gray on our rug.
When we renovated the laundry room We spent a whopping $80 and I’m happy with it. There is no natural light in this room, so having Revere Pewter looks a nice beige with a hint of gray.
When you have a room with no natural light like our laundry room. You will want to try adding color with painted furniture or furniture. We choose to paint the cabinets in areas that make the paint look dirty or a strange brown color.
The Perfect Shades Of Greige
We painted a pattern in this room and made the chair rails bright white and we love them. Even though the photo looks really beige. But natural light makes it gray for most of the day. This is why I always recommend painting a sample paint on your wall before making a decision! 🙂
I hope I’m not the only one and you can see how different the lighting is. In Christina’s house It looks gray! In my house and Vidya’s house, it looks more beige with gray accents.
Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray is a similar color that many people choose. House servants are a medium gray color. Having said that, when seeing these two colors in a real room, Agreeable Gray appears a bit warmer and more purple than Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. Revere Pewter may appear gray in the right lighting. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen Agreeable Gray like that before.
How To Use Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter In 2023
Chelsea Gray is another popular color. But as you can see from the example above. This color is quite dark. Benjamin Moore describes it as “a dark color.” “Well-dressed man,” which made me squeal. Although I think it’s more gray than BM Revere Pewter, I don’t know if it’s neutral. So is your skin. But the fact that Chelsea gray is black I didn’t feel like there was much variety in wall colors. I think it would be great if it was one of the accent colors in your own home.
Another entry on the popular gray list is Anew Gray from Sherwin Williams. Again, I think it’s a great color. But I don’t know if I could call it the perfect shade of greige for me. It’s more purple and darker than Revere Pewter. It’s a nice color. Don’t expect it to be a light gray like Revere Pewter.
Sherwin Williams Repose Gray is one of the closest competitors to BM Revere Pewter. I love Repose Gray. I will say that I think it’s a great light gray color with real-life purple material. Mostly light gray from every brand. It will be brown, blue or purple and it all depends on your lighting conditions. Even though we have BM Revere Pewter at home, SW Repose Gray is a very alluring color. I think if it’s not that close. I would probably be half-hearted about redoing the entire house.

But that requires accepting colors. And it’s not a party I want to be invited to at this point in my life.
I think it’s safe to say that since we chose Revere Pewter as the color for the majority of our home, So we love it!
