If you prefer something more shimmery than semi-glossy, the glossy finish is very glossy and smooth. A semi-gloss finish would better cover and highlight surface imperfections. I had to special order the glitter because none of the stores in my area carry it.
My main complaint with this product is the lingering blacks in ultra-deep foundations. I also had this problem with Esmeralda urethane polish. If using an ultra-deep base black or any other color, you should allow it to cure for at least five to seven days before removing touched or painted doors. If you take enough time to dry the door, you are unsure of the fingerprints, it will not come off.
