The white canvas bag (Carolina Recycled Score!!) was placed in the park near the Rock Garden. Other small accents, pillows and chairs went into the shed, and four new outdoor chairs (new dining table from 1) went down into the downstairs dining room. Most of my stuff was in the basement. The deck painting was done quickly by 3 teams – top and bottom brush + grating spray – floor and stairs, the summer heat and bright sunlight meant that the “ghost” was created ( pictures). This caused the two vendors to return an extra day (only in the morning) to repair. The black plate is the same color as the dark spots on the back half, making it hard to see in the bright sunlight, so most of the lightning and ghosting had to be done on the stairs.

I tend to do minor repairs myself (remove debris / remove nests) – check deck structural integrity after 10 years, then every 3 years.
When the deck is dirty, let it dry for 24 hours (dry, but not wet, don’t walk on it + don’t put it back on plants or furniture).
