In this review, I cover both indoor and outdoor versions of Super Paint by Sherwin Williams. Interior Super Paint was one of the first paints I started painting with over twenty years ago. I only used this ink for work, until I had some problems with the internal version and switched to a different ink.

This is not cheap paint. As of this review update, the full price per gallon for the velvet inner liner is $68. With regular sales at Sherwin Williams, you can easily buy this paint at discount prices. I will not pay full price.
How To Paint Exterior Brick
I would like to point out that the outdoor version of this paint is a great product for home decor and siding painting. The paint is very durable and covers well. I have a problem with the interior paint. While this paint has many positive aspects, you should also be aware of the negatives.
Unlike the interior version, Exterior Super Paint has never given me a headache and I’ve used this paint on everything from siding and blinds to trim and garage doors. Flat area prices start at $69 per gallon. I now use Duration exterior paint for most of my exterior painting projects, but the paint is expensive without the contractor discount. Superior exterior paint is less expensive and will last over five years before needing to be repainted.
Super Paint and Duration are two of Sherwin Williams’ most popular paints, and the Duration line is the more expensive of the two. Exterior paint is thick and can be used on multiple surfaces. According to this review, exterior paint prices start at $89 per gallon. Wait for paint sales to get a better price. From experience I can say that the exterior paint of my house holds up well. You get what you pay for.

If you don’t want to spend extra money on time, exterior paint is a good option. Without the discount, I think both inks are too expensive. The paint is not as thick as period, but this can also be a positive as it allows the surface to breathe better than the moisture underneath.
I don’t recommend using indoor super paints to paint the walls of your home. As I explained before, I had issues with surface bleeding (chemical streaks) and pigment shedding during paint application. The paint coverage is really good, but personally I wouldn’t use this product again for my painting projects if better paint is available.
I usually use Interior Period or Regal Select for walls. Both paints are washable, low VOC and double coat. I can also use one in bathrooms and not have to worry about leakage issues.
